And so do features... The standard Earscan® 3 is a fully programmable audiometer, allowing customization of the entire test procedure, from the intensity step size to the frequencies selected for testing and the order in which they are presented. The Earscan® 3 can accomodate both the standard headset as well as optional insert headphones. Calibration is password protected to ensure the integrity of data. Built in calibration reminders ensure the validity of test results. With standard RS-232 communications, data can be transferred to a variety of printers and PC programs.
Earscan® 3+ package available... In addition to the above features, the
Earscan® 3+ package also includes test storage capabilities on commonly
available SD and MMC media cards, allowing easy transfer and storage of
audiometric test data. A 64 MB SD or MMC card will hold approximately 32,000
audiograms. The Earscan® 3+ also has the ability to compare baseline audiometric
data and calculate STS, STS with Presbycusis, and PBI results. Also included is
software to control the audiometer from an attached PC. Additional items include
a carrying case and printer.
